Joe Harris  and  Kelly Fitzpatrick  are creating near-future sci-fi in  Snowfall,   Chris Burnham  showed us a vision of hellish horror in  Nameless,  and  Steven Seagle  and  Jason Adam Katzenstein brought us an all-ages monster-themed coming-of-age tale in  Camp Midnight.  They create new worlds that readers fall into and love forever, and they share their expertise here. Friday July 22, 2016 5:30pm - 6:30pm    Room 5AB        Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards    The 28th annual Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards (the “Oscars” of the comics industry) honor comics creators and works from 2015 in 30 categories. Other prestigious awards to be given out include the Russ Manning Promising Newcomer Award, the Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award, the Bill Finger Award for Excellence in Comics Writing, and the Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award  Friday July 22, 2016 8:00pm - 11:00pm    Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront          The Loikamania Podcast: One More Time     Pat Loika  (The Loikamania Podcast) brings some friends back together for a mini-reunion, catching up on various projects, talking some process, and of course, doing a Q&A. Featuring  Kris Anka  (artist,  Uncanny X-Men, Captain Marvel ),  Jody Houser (writer,  Faith, Orpan Black ),  Kelly Fitzpatrick  (colorist,  Bitch Planet ,  DC Bombshells ) and James S. Rich  (senior editor, Vertigo Comics).  Saturday July 23, 2016 11:00am - 12:00pm    Neil Morgan Auditorium, San Diego Central Library      Between all of these events I’ll be wandering around the show. I’m short, but I’m easy to find with neon orange hair and big, librarian glasses.
